The short version

VideoAudioFX has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs of any kind. Every video you import and every effect you apply is processed entirely on your device. Nothing about you, your videos, or how you use the app is ever collected, transmitted, or seen by anyone — including the developer.

Your video and audio

Importing, previewing, and exporting all happen locally on your device. Your video is never uploaded anywhere, and neither is its audio. The app has no network connection to any server it controls, and doesn't need one to function.

Photos access

If you choose to import from Photos, VideoAudioFX asks for permission to read your photo library. This access is used solely to copy the video file you select into the app for local processing — nothing else in your library is read, scanned, or transmitted. You can also import via the Files app instead, which doesn't require this permission at all.

In-app purchases

Exporting is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase, processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Your payment details are handled by Apple and never reach the developer. VideoAudioFX only learns whether your purchase entitles you to export — it doesn't receive your name, payment method, or any other information about the transaction.

No analytics or tracking

There are no analytics libraries, crash reporters, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs of any kind in VideoAudioFX. Nothing about your usage of the app is measured, logged, or reported — not even anonymously.

Where your data lives

Effect presets you save, and your effect settings, are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. None of it syncs to iCloud or any server, and none of it is accessible to the developer. Deleting the app deletes this data along with it.

Children's privacy

VideoAudioFX doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — because it doesn't collect information at all. The app is not directed at children specifically, but nothing about how it handles data changes based on who's using it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted here with a revised date at the top. Given that the app collects nothing today, any future change would only be to clarify this document, not to introduce data collection quietly.
